About
Kids Coding Classes in Kitchener-Waterloo — Taught by a CS Professional
Kids Coding Fun offers in-person coding classes for kids aged 7–18 across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and New Hamburg. Founded by Kinshuk, a Computer Science professional with over 20 years of hands-on industry experience, the goal is simple: teach children to think logically, solve problems, and create with technology — skills that last a lifetime.
Why small groups?
Most coding schools run classes of 10, 15, or even 20 kids. In those environments, slower learners fall behind and faster learners get bored. With just 3–4 students per session, Kinshuk can adapt the pace, answer questions thoroughly, and give every child the attention they need to actually understand — not just copy.
Why pay per class?
Many parents aren't sure if their child will enjoy coding until they actually try it. Locking a family into a monthly subscription before they know if it's a good fit isn't fair. With a pay-per-class model, you take one session, see how your child responds, and decide whether to continue — with no financial pressure either way.
What makes these classes different?
The focus is on understanding, not memorization. A student who understands why a loop works can apply that logic to any language or problem. A student who just memorizes syntax is stuck the moment something doesn't work as expected. Every class is designed to build genuine comprehension alongside practical skills.
Who are the classes for?
Children from age 7 through to high school (Grade 12) in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and New Hamburg. Beginners are always welcome — no prior experience is needed for most courses. For advanced teens, there are courses in Data Science, Canadian Computing Competition prep, and AWS Cloud Computing that build real university-level portfolio projects that top programs at Waterloo, Toronto, and other competitive schools want to see.
